China will cut the retail prices of gasoline and diesel on Thursday, based on recent changes in international oil prices, the country's top economic planner said on Wednesday.
Gasoline and diesel prices will both drop by 50 yuan (US$7.03) per ton, according to the National Development and Reform Commission.
The adjusted maximum retail prices of refined oil products in our city are as follows: No. 92 gasoline 7.66 yuan per liter, a decrease of 0.04 yuan; No. 95 gasoline 8.09 yuan, a decrease of 0.04 yuan; No. 0 diesel oil 7.32 yuan, a decrease of 0.04 yuan. Based on the estimated capacity of a typical household car fuel tank of 50 liters, filling up a tank of No. 92 gasoline will cost you 2 yuan less.
