Tourists who visited the Harbin Ice Lantern Festival Ice and Snow World are demanding refunds for their tickets.
Local media reported on the 19th that a large-scale demand for refunds occurred on the first day of the opening of the ‘Ice and Snow World’ of the Harbin Ice Lantern Festival in China, one of the world’s three major winter festivals.
A tourist who said he was from Harbin said, “I visited with my family, and in order to enjoy the 5 rides included in the ticket, I had to make a reservation every 30 minutes. I tried to make a reservation a total of 4 times over 2 hours, but I couldn’t make a reservation for any of them.” “He said.
Another tourist also said, “There are facilities in Ice and Snow World that require a reservation to enjoy, but I made a reservation and stood in line, but I couldn’t use it.” He added, “The weather was over -20 degrees Celsius, and the number of lines only decreased by a few per hour.” He said.
Looking at the actual reservation information, only 210 seats for the Ferris wheel and 400 seats for the slide can be reserved every 30 minutes.
As a result, tourists who could not properly enjoy the Ice Lantern Festival gathered at the ticket booth and demanded refunds.
In this situation, Harbin Ice and Snow World stopped selling tickets in the afternoon of the same day. Ice and Snow World said, “The number of reservations on the day reached 40,000,” and “To ensure the quality of the facility, ticket sales will be suspended and tickets will be sold normally tomorrow.”
